Today is the beginning of our salvation

and the manifestation of the mystery

which is from eternity.

The Son of God becomes the Son of the Virgin,

and Gabriel announces grace.

So, with him, let us also cry

to the Mother of God:

'Rejoice, thou who art full of grace!

The Lord is with thee.'

COVID-19 Update

On March 17, 2020 we received an encyclical from His Eminence Archbishop Benjamin of the Diocese of the West, directing us to cancel all parish services and group activities because of the COVID-19 pandemic. At the present time, our activities are still limited, since under local regulations, we may not host gatherings of more than 25 people. (See our calendar page for more details.)

The church office will be open for appointments as needed.

The Holy Synod of Bishops of the Orthodox Church in America has subsequently met to discuss the current situation, both on March 30 and on May 1.  You may read the May 1 Archpastoral Letter of the Holy Synod here, and their specific directives here.

Father Matthew has shared with us a very thoughtful and well-stated homily on the current situation from Elder Zacharias of St. John the Baptist Monastery, Essex, England, which you may read here.

At our annual members' meeting on January 25, 2015, we approved an expansion project for our church building.  Click this YouTube link for a conceptual video showing proposed changes:

Donation checks are welcome also! Write Building Fund on the check memo line. Giving by check allows us to avoid online payment processing charges.
