Annunciation Orthodox Church is located on 11 acres of natural open space near Kellogg Creek. The site is jeweled with ponds, wetlands, and stands of venerable Oregon white oak. This setting – once a farm and still teeming with blueberries in late summer – provides rich habitat for creatures like waterfowl, songbirds, deer, and brush rabbits. The historic log church was moved to the site in 1987 from its previous location near the corner of Highway 224 and McLoughlin Boulevard. Today, the exterior of the church features a mosaic image of the Annunciation as well as icons of beloved American Orthodox saints: St. John of San Francisco, St. Innocent of Alaska, and St. Herman of Alaska.
